We are pleased to welcome three new physicians to UBMD Obstetrics & Gynecology. Each brings exceptional expertise and a strong commitment to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to our patients and community.

Dr. Rebecca Gold is an obstetrician and gynecologist who earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Scripps College and her medical degree from Washington State University. She completed her residency at Adventist Health White Memorial Hospital in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Gold joins UBMD OB/GYN as a clinical assistant professor at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

Dr. Michael Pirics is a gynecologist specializing in cervical dysplasia (pre-cancer), vulvar disorders, minimally invasive surgery, and transgender care. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Genetics from Texas A&M University, followed by his MD from Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Houston Methodist Hospital. Dr. Pirics also serves as a clinical assistant professor at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

Dr. Maria Morgan is an obstetrician and gynecologist specializing in pediatric and adolescent gynecology. She provides medical and surgical care for children, teens, and young adults, with expertise in pre-pubertal gynecologic concerns, menstrual disorders, menstrual suppression, atypical reproductive anatomy, pelvic masses, vulvar conditions, and teen pregnancy. A graduate of the University at Buffalo, she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and her MD there. She completed her residency at New York Medical College and a fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at the Hospital for Sick Children and the University of Toronto. Dr. Morgan is also a clinical assistant professor at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

All three physicians are now accepting new patients at both UBMD OB/GYN locations.
