UBMD Obstetrics & Gynecology expands women’s treatment into Williamsville—adds doctor and certified nurse midwife
October, 2015, Williamsville, NY – UBMD OBGYN has added a new location at 755 Wehrle Drive, Williamsville, NY 14225 between South Forest and Union Roads. The department announced that this new office will provide an excellent opportunity to expand their practice and accept new patients.
Moeen Abu-Sitta, MD added to provide gynecologic services and to treat women’s pelvic issues
Dr. Moeen Abu-Sitta joins UBMD OBGYN to provide diagnosis, treatment and care for women, including gynecology and urogynecology.
Dr. Abu-Sitta is a leader in the practice of Female Pelvic Reconstruction and Incontinence Surgery. He has published a number of papers and has been featured in national and international news articles for his specialty practice as well as humanitarian activities providing free services around the world.
Dr. Abu-Sitta focuses on general gynecology as well as these urogynecologic and female incontinence conditions:
- Fallen or Prolapsed Uterus or Vagina
- Urinary Tract Infection
- Overactive Bladder
- Cystocele (Dropped Bladder)
- Rectocele (Pushing of the Rectum into the back wall of the Vagina)
- Female Urinary Incontinence
- Fecal and Flatal Incontinence
Dr. Abu Sitta has lived in WNY for over 30 years. He is married with three sons.
Margaret Schaefer-Turner, Certified Nurse Midwife
Margaret received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at the State University of New York at Buffalo, graduating Magna Cum Laude. With a Master of Science in Nursing and Nurse Midwifery from Yale University, she is certified by the American College of Nurse Midwifes.
Schaefer-Turner provides gynecologic services including educational and informational counseling. She specializes in teens, contraception, well-women gynecology and menopause.
